Interior And Furniture Design
At House of Garrod, we create interiors and furniture designs that are as individual as you are. From complete room schemes to statement sofas and elegant headboards, every piece is thoughtfully tailored to your style and lifestyle. With beautiful fabrics, intricate detail, and timeless craftsmanship, we bring comfort, character, and individuality to every space.
Bring Your Story to Life in Fabric
Every sofa we create is more than just a piece of furniture — it’s a canvas for your memories. Whether your story is inspired by a place, an experience, or a moment in your life, we work closely with you to turn it into a beautiful, functional work of art.
From photography and meaningful quotes to treasured keepsakes that can be carefully stitched into the design, every detail is incorporated to ensure your sofa is one of a kind.
The result is a piece that not only transforms your space but also captures your journey — something to treasure for years to come.
If you’re ready to see your story in fabric, we’d love to create it with you.
The Harry Potter Chair – A Magical Bespoke Creation
Over six years ago, Beverley Garrod dreamed up a one-of-a-kind, asymmetric Harry Potter-inspired chair — a heartfelt tribute to her love of J.K. Rowling’s magical world. Designed and conceptualised entirely by Beverley, the chair was brought to life with a handcrafted frame by Beckingham Designs, intricate sculptures by Tom Beardwell, and a beautifully felted owl created by textile artist Abigail Rayner.
Every detail tells a story: from the hand-embroidered words “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” on the seat to the secret Marauder’s Map, tucked into a bespoke pocket with “Mischief Managed” stitched on the outside. On the reverse, Beverley even drew Harry himself — capturing the spirit of Hogwarts in thread, fabric, and imagination.
